what if you only lower the rear and not the front?
I just wanted to give you a thumbs up for the Gov't Mule intro!
I love my 97 1200s. It only has 24,000 miles. It's naked no wind screen or fairing. Timing advice kit. Modified air intake box. Keker racing pipe. It's difficult to keep the front end on the ground. Wheelies are It's favorite thing to do
Love this video, going to buy my first bandit soon!
Learn CW and talk all over the world on <5w
I was going to say Silver City has always had activity. I think why some people may want to say there's nothing there is because they don't want it turning into a Sedona.
Its about time manufacturers made the seats more adjustable , there is no need for all the air space over the rear wheel
Didn’t really need the motorcycle intro…
This is, among other things, a motorcycle channel.
' FT DX9000, IC 7800. Three tube alpha, . Two kW with antenna tuner and antenna switch take two SW rIgs to drive it------------- top of the line felt so good to own..... I can tell you right now that's the ICOM I X 7851 as close to being a laboratory device and all you'll ever need.
They should consider putting the building on the national register of historic places, before it gets torn down.
I guess they "went" out back whenever the need arose, since I didn't see anything that looked like restrooms. ? 😬
Just took a trip from pa to Seattle. Friend moved out there so we drove from Philly pretty much to Washington. Saw a bunch of stuff along the way, mount Rushmore was awesome to see. Got to see the badlands alittle
Mate, awesome to see a video from you with some new adventures! I've always been fascinated with the whole Billy The Kid history ever since seeing Young Guns back in the late 80's. I was disappointed that I never got to that state on my USA trips. Next time! It looks like you had a great trip as usual finding some pretty cool and interesting history and quirky places. I look forward to seeing your next trip into New Mexico! Maybe I'll even see you there in person! 🤣
It would be so awesome to be able to meet you in person after all these years. Fingers crossed that it will happen!
There is a book about the founder. He was hanged. The Execution, Life and Times of Patrick O’Donnell. He was a Confederate Soldier.
great trip, great video... thanks Tim. You always amaze...
Thanks you, sir!
Where we going today Tim!!!?
Straight into the middle of nowhere, just like always, my friend! Great to hear from you!
Hello. Exploring New Mexico. Rock park is a typical American landscape. Silver City with mining history. The history museum is impressive. It has nice townscape. National forest trails. It has beautiful natural landscape. Pinos with gold mining history. The museum and gift shop are good. Hatch with artistic works. This town has a lot of chili peppers. LOL. Cloud Croft Village. Mountain hike. The view is amazing. Thanks for taking me. Thanks my friend.
I'm glad you liked it! Thank you! :)
Tim, please tell me you ate at Sparky's! Best green chili burger on the planet! Thanks for posting and nice to hear from ya again!
Unfortunately, we were still full from breakfast. Next time! Cheers and thanks. :)
Ditch the ditch! You found a good beer! You still brewing? I'm glad I'm too far away for the chilli 🌶 😂🥵 Beautiful area, a return trip is a must! Tim that was awesome, thank you sir. 👌 👏
No longer brewing professionally. A more lucrative opportunity came along so I took it. Cheers and thanks!
Great video Tim, I love history of places on this planet. That log cabin donated by Ron Howard is great, It looked such a great place to visit, thank you.
My pleasure, Kev! Thanks very much.
Thanks for sharing Tim! Never been to New Mexico, nice to see some places that I’ve thought about visiting.
You'd enjoy it. It's a place all its own for sure. Cheers.
Good to see you again, Tim! Very cool stuff there. I imagine the VLA would be an impressive sight; a couple of times on WV trips I've gone by Green Bank, which has the world's largest fully steerable radio telescope, that's a pretty impressive sight itself. The VLA is much larger in aggregate, Green Bank is a single antenna, something like a hundred meters in diameter. First time I went by the science center was closed (mid pandemic), there was a sign on the door pointing out a red gate at the far end of the parking area beyond which no electronic devices could be used (the town has no wi-fi at all, it's a radio quiet zone), and the last line on the sign read, "We could pick up your phone in airplane mode on Saturn".
Yeah, I've seen and read about Green Bank. It'll be interesting to see how long they can keep that area a quiet zone into the future. It's located in one of the most population-dense parts of the country.
Actually, the population density nearby is pretty low, nearest cities of any size are about fifty miles away from it, it's not far from Spruce Knob, the highest point in WV. Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area also not far away. Greenbrier resort (and its cold-war era bunker) are probably closer but even there it's a pretty small town, really. Great riding in those hills and on out to New River Gorge (now a National Park). BTW, I have a trip coming up into PA next month, and recently saw that in Scranton (about an hour from my mom's place) there's a "Steamtown" museum, and one of the engines they have is a Union Pacific Big Boy! There's a sight I just have to see!
I love it when i see a new tim kreitz adventures. On our best behavior on this one. We left the boys at home. Always top notch tim thanks for posting. And you gotta see the big ditch has got to be the most small town thing to say to sombody anywhere lol !!
Hahaha. I agree. They were super proud of it. LOL. Thanks, man!
Looked like a nice trip, I hope you two make it back out and catch what you missed the first go around 🙂
Same here. Thank you!
Good to see a new @timkreitzadventures video. Have to admit, I was on pins and needles awaiting the inevitable DQ visit. Take care and have a great summer
Hahaha! Thanks a million.
MAN is it good to see you posting content!
Very much appreciated. :)
Been needing this video for a long time, thanks for the upload!
My pleasure, friend!
Wow,really good ,talk to you soon!Tim!;)
Thanks.
Are there any ''I visted the Big Ditch'' T shirts available?
Hahaha! I didn't see a single one. :)
Some of my favorite places to ride!
I definitely missed having a bike with me.
The flower shop next to the drug store was my nanas
Imagine that, just standing empty beside the road. Going in there would give me a feeling like I got when I went into the Sun Studio.
hey Tim, where was this monastery at??

Youre annoying asf
I have had the 500 amp for many years. I added the 10 meter option many years. It has worked flawlessly.
F 800 GT is so underappreciated for how great it is!

I remember the day I picked up my 2015 H2JUst like that...in the box.Took my breath away it was so uniquely beautiful...and full of piss and vinegar!!!Congrats on that beastie.
You've got a nice setup. Thanks for sharing. - I've been a CBer for years since the early 1970's back when you still had to have a CB license. Now just this year I have gotten my GMRS license, and now I am studying for my ham technician license. I've never really been interested in DX'ing (shooting skip) of any kind let alone in DX'ing (shooting skip), around the world. I'm more into and just interested in Rag Chewing with either local or slightly distant other hams.
I’m right there with ya….my ‘97 1200 S has 33k and running very strong! I’m out here in Ohio and want to find more people riding bandits, just hang out and talk Suzuki lol. Safe riding my friend shiny side up!
I have a 2001 1200s which I bought new, only issue I have had is the low beam diffuser came loose, the whole headlight is a sealed unit, so had to buy a new one, I also put led headlights in, as well as spot lights, the bike pulls strongly from just 1500rpm in top gear, great reliable, torquee bike
Pay peanuts get monkeys i have five other bikes a 1200vmax custom rull power couole offbmid cc v twin yams and a daytona triumph
